Green Schools
Our school is a green school and our motto is “Let’s be seen to be Clean and Green”.

Biodiversity is the variety of life in the world or in a particular habitat or ecosystem. This year, our pupils will be studying biodiversity as we work for our 8th green school's flag .

Biodiversity projects in Rathmichael School

Biodiversity keeps all of us alive, it is important we protect it!

The BAD news: Pollution and litter can cause the death of millions of animals each year. Habitats are being invaded and destroyed. Plants and animals are being over-exploited. Climate change is changing the habitats of some animals.

What are we doing in our school to create awareness of biodiversity amongst our pupils?
